Location of the conference
The Conference will be held at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science ot University of Perugia (Perugia, Italy). Perugia is the capital city of both the region of Umbria in central Italy, crossed by the river Tiber, and of the province of Perugia. The city is located about 164 kilometers (102 miles) north of Rome and 148 km (92 miles) southeast of Florence. It covers a high hilltop and part of the valleys around the area. The region of Umbria is bordered by Tuscany, Lazio, and Marche. The history of Perugia goes back to the Etruscan period, since Perugia was one of the main Etruscan cities. The city is also famous for his High Renaissance painter Pietro Perugino who created some of his masterpieces in the Perugia area. The University of Perugia was founded in 1308 and Perugia is also a well-known cultural and artistic centre of Italy. The city hosts multiple annual festivals and events, as the Umbria Jazz Festival (July). |

In Perugia, exit expressway E45. In expressway E45 exit at “Perugia Prepo” or “Perugia San Faustino”
By Train
Direct trains connect Perugia to Rome, Florence and Milan. Timetables and fares are available on

Perugia’s main railway station is located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Fontivegge, the stop name is simply Perugia:
be careful do not stop in “Perugia Ponte San Giovanni” or
“Perugia Università”.
The station is located just outside the old town, 10 minutes by taxi, bus or minimetrò (Pincetto stop)
Bus and taxi are available (taxi phone nr.: +39 075 500 48 88) just outside the Station.
The minimetrò (Perugia metro) station is very closed, on the left corner.
